Why does Meanwhile need Usage access?
So it can know which app is open and time your sessions there. Meanwhile never looks at anything inside your apps — no messages, posts or content.
The floating timer doesn't appear
Turn on “Display over other apps” for Meanwhile in your system settings. That’s the permission that lets the timer float on top of other apps.
Tracking stops after a while
Some phones close background apps to save battery. In your battery settings, set Meanwhile to “Don’t optimize” so it can keep timing your sessions.
How do I delete my data?
Tap “Clear sessions” in Settings, or simply uninstall the app. Everything is stored only on your device, so deleting it deletes your data.
